Tom, first make sure everything is working right after enabling SEO url and changing your .htaccess file. That is where issues are most likely to arise.

Then try to skimlinks mod. When copying from this website to your web page, retype all quotation marks. You need “real” quote marks in your code, not the ‘curly cue’ quote marks my WP template is using.

Thanks for the great summary.

For the part on Skimlinks, after I made the changes to auction.php, enable Seo URL and change .htaccess file, I keep getting the “Parse Error” when I click on the EBay links. The error seems to point to the line $SkimPubID = …

Any other changes required on the syntax of that line?

Really appreciate if you have any pointers to share. Thanks

Elisabeth, there is no difference between using Wordpress and an html built website. You follow the same steps for creating your links.
