Traffic Bad Boys Review

Grade: D

The Traffic Bad Boys by Robert Plank and Jason Fladlien is promoted as 600+ pages of traffic generating tips across 7 ebooks - for a mere $7.

This, plus some unspecified bonus ebooks, are apparently enticement for a $7 a month continuity program.

After subscribing the words fraud and utter crap come to mind.

Initially, there is only 1 ebook, not 7, available for members.

This 20 crappy, completely generic ebook was not written by the sellers.

Nope.

Turns out it was 'written' by Aurelius Tjin (who?) and is simply a general ebook with Master Resell Rights.

Robert Plank and Jason Fladlien didn't even bother to remove the Master Resell Rights licensing material.

Basically, Robert Plank is apparently getting some resell rights and pawning off the material trying to get some monthly income. It's embarassing, especially since the material is bad.

The ebook is of the general sort written by ghostwriters - probably took about an hour after Googling for traffic generation techniques.

I really can't emphasize enough how bad this material is.

There are some really awesome tips in this junk:

'Natural traffic is the traffic that can come naturally to the site.'

'List with directories. This feature can enhance visibility and exposure on the Net.'
(Wow. Utter genius. And exactly what 'feature' is being talked about.)

'Links work by providing paths from other places and platforms.'

I'll stop there, as I could go on and on and on. This possibly could simply be semi-autogenerated junk where irrelevant and important sounding words from a thesaurus are being used as word replacements from some primary text. What 'platforms' could one be referring to when defining links?

Although Traffic Bad Boys offers a grand refund policy, a request for a refund went unanswered, despite an email to Robert Plank and to Jason Fladlien. Unfortunately, the next day Robert Plank was actively seen on his blog pimping his next product, begging for help on how to get around his Google YouTube ban, and generally ignoring support requests from his existing customers.

Future prediction: More problems for Robert Plank. Crappy products. Poor customer service. What could be considered sales fraud. YouTube ban. - Not a very good track record.

The impression over the past year is that Robert Plank is straying farther and farther from his expertise of programming php code - trying to become a guru marketer - trying to be the next Mike Filsaime. The problem is, Filsaime has such a bad reputation that he won't even post in forums any more because he is hated by so many people he has burned (information has been verified by a Filsaime worker). Robert is walking that same Plank, but without the income.

Update: after filing a PayPal dispute - I believe the first dispute I've ever had to file despite buying tons of material through PayPal, someone on behalf of Jason Fladlien responded and provided a refund. They said Fladlien was unavailable as his Internet connection had been down for days. (I wonder how he knew about the refund request then?) Never did get any response from Robert Plank.

Second update: apparently a lot of people have problems with Traffic Bad Boys. No one I have found is giving it a good review. After finally having some correspondence with Robert Plank, its turns out this kid is still a very immature kid. Unfortunately, my evalution of Plank appears to be spot-on, and he apparently couldn't care less about his customers or reputation. Maybe someday he will grow up but for now, I wouldn't recommend any products Robert Plank promotes - unless it is one of his php scripts - which are good.

More comments around the web about Traffic Bad Boys:
"The sales pitch for TrafficBadBoys indicated 600 pages of content were available when you opted in before the timer ran out.

In reality it is trickle time... There were no seven products on site, they are going to be trickle fed to you.

OK it is only $7 but the sales page portrays this gonga deal and then even more to come if you stay a member. But oops you can have the material only a little at a time...

What was initially posted was well worth the $7, and the additions that followed added to the benefit, still not all the products that were promised appeared.

Aren't we as marketers trying to sell our credibility? If we sell something it seems by golly it better be there. If we suddenly trickle feed it gives the appearance of a scam...and if you look like a scammer at $7 then how do you build buyer confidence for the bigger ticket items?"

"I gotta say that I did feel a bit cheated when I looked at that first piece of content from TBB (Traffic Bad Boys)."

"I’m equally unimpressed with the 'Traffic Bad Boys'. I gave it more of a chance than you did, and it got no better. It’s too bad, because Jason Fladlien is an excellent writer and this will probably damage his reputation. This venture seems to have more of the signature of the other 'bad boy', Robert Plank, who was recently banned from YouTube."

"I had a lot of hope for the 'Traffic Bad Boys' because I respected Jason Fladlien. If he gave us just one good report per month, he’d be over-delivering at the $7/month subscription rate.

I'm far less impressed with his new business partner, Robert Plank. He looked strong for a while. Then, it looks like greed took over the driver's seat.

....

My advice: Don't waste your money. "

"I've seen better recycled PLR in my spam folder.

Y'know, Google warns us to stay away from 'bad neighborhoods.' Well, from what I’ve seen, Robert Plank is a bad neighborhood. "

"Mr. Plank's customer service is truly awful, so I've had to stop endorsing the product (Time Management on Crack).

.....

I'd already signed up for another of his membership sites, 'Traffic Bad Boys.' It was truly awful. I unsubscribed after just a few days when it was one disappointing product after another."
